One day, a little girl eagerly watched her mother sew. She was fascinated as the flat pieces of fabric transformed into her new pajamas. She begged her mother to let her try, and mother-daughter sewing sessions began. Soon, the room was filled with creations big and small, each one handmade with love. As the little girl grew, her love of sewing grew with her, and in her heart, sewing was more than just a hobby: it was a passion.
Fluffyland is a shop filled with cute goodies, all created by me, Samantha Janis. What started as a hobby grew into this small business. Why? I wish to spread cuteness and creativity into the world. Every item is cut, sewn on my Husqvarna Viking sewing machine, and finished by hand. I have a mild case of perfectionism, so I will redo things multiple times to make sure they are exactly as I had pictured. This guarantees quality and satisfaction for you as a customer.
All items are sewn from quality fabrics: some new and some vintage. All fabrics are pre-washed. Items are shipped from a smoke- and pet hair-free home.
And me? My name is Samantha Janis, and I am a 21-year-old seamstress from Virginia, currently studying mechanical engineering in Cleveland, OH. Sewing narwhals and other such things is the most fun way I can think of to pay down my tuition bills! During the school year, shop updates slide to the lower end of my agenda, but orders are always treated with the utmost expediency.
